Imported from Australia, Commander carries great genetics, being a grandson of Jolimont Conquistador, and a son of Jolimont Commisario.

Commander displays excellent conformation and a very soft handling fleece which is uniform to the extremities of his body.
 

Pedigree: Every stud stable should include at least one son of Jolimont Commisario. Commander is ours. His dam, Cambridge Temptation, is one of the elite dams of EP Cambridge, from the famous Jolimont Conquistador.   
 

Fibre: 19.8 micron, 4.2 sd, 21.4% cv, and 98.3% cf on second fleece at 21 months old.

A fleece with high amplitude high frequency characteristics.
 

Shows: Commander performed well in his first NZ show season with two Reserve Champions (both behind Southern Alpacas males), and a convincing first in his white Composite class at Wanaka Show where he won both fleece and conformation sections.

At South Otago Show 2009 EP Cambridge Commandant sired by Commander won his white/light fawn class, and went on to be Champion Junior and Best White/Light Fawn alpaca.
 

Pictured left is Hemiccoyo Alyssa and Hemiccoyo Consul winning sire's progeny. 

Alyssa was Reserve Champion Junior, behind Chaska who went on to win Supreme.

Consul also won the CHAMPION HUACAYA FLEECE.
