Rare Pluro genetics

Kiwi Pluro (Solid White) brings a rare combination of famous genetics to New Zealand.

Pedigree: Kiwi Pluro looks just like his famous father, accoyo ILR PPeruvian Pluro, renown for his fleece with an abundance of secondary fibres with deep bold crimp. He was 25 micron at 10 years old !

Kiwi Pluro's dam is Orinoco Florence, sired by Peruvian Drambuie, who has never been beaten in the Show ring in the USA. He was 19.8 micron at 6 years old.

Kiwi Pluro brings a rare combination of famous genetics to New Zealand. He is an upstanding stud, of large frame,

Fleece:  Kiwi Pluro's shearweight has increased each year from a first shear of 3.1 kg and 20.0µ SF to his fifth shear of 6.53 kg, at 25.42 µ, 5.52 sd, 21.7% cv, 46.63 curve. His sixth shear is 24.94 micron.

He has dense fleece with broad bold crimp and good lock structure and brilliant lustre and SRS style.

2nd Intermediate male
(to Reserve Champion) Upper Clutha Show in Wanaka 2003

His first cria shown won Reserve Champion at Upper Clutha Show in Wanaka 2006 and the judge highlighted the lustrous fleece.

Another of his sons was 2nd in his class at the National Expo 2008, and with other offspring they have consistently been ribbon winners this last show season.

  Progeny: His cria have high lustre and well-defined staples.
